User Management

The User Management feature in Queryloop empowers organization owners and administrators to oversee and manage user accounts, control data access, and assign permissions. Designed to meet the needs of secure and collaborative environments, this feature allows for fine-grained user permissions, flexible access control, and seamless integration of multiple users within a secure organizational structure. This tab is accessible only to users with administrative privileges and is included as part of the Pro or Enterprise subscription packages.

Adding and Managing Users​

Owners and administrators can add users to Queryloop either manually or by bulk import via CSV. This flexibility enables easy onboarding for teams of any size, with detailed options for assigning privileges and permissions tailored to individual roles.

Manual User Addition​

  1. Adding Individual Users

    • To add a new user, click on the Add User button. This action will open a popup window requesting specific user details:
      • First Name and Last Name: Enter the user’s full name.
      • Email Address: Provide the user’s professional or organizational email.
      • Password: Set an initial password for the user account.
      • Privilege Level: Specify the user type (see details below).
      • Permission Level: Assign document access permissions (see details below).
    • Once completed, the user is added to the organization with the specified access and privileges.

  2. Bulk Import of Users

    • For larger teams, administrators can upload a CSV file containing user details. The CSV file should follow a specific format:
      • Required Headers: First Name, Last Name, Email, Password, Privilege, and Permission Level.
      • File Formatting: Ensure the headers and data are organized precisely to prevent import errors.
    • By using bulk import, administrators can quickly integrate multiple users, saving time and maintaining consistent data access standards across the organization.

User Privileges and Permissions​

Privilege Levels​

Privilege levels in Queryloop define the degree of access users have within the system, including their ability to read, write, or modify content.

  • Member: Members have Read-only privileges. They can view data and insights within the system but cannot make changes or access administrative functions.
  • Admin: Admin users have Read and Write privileges. They can modify content, manage configurations, add new data, and perform other tasks to support model creation and optimization.
  • Owner: Owners possess the highest level of access and control, including the ability to manage billing, subscription settings, and user accounts.

In addition to data access, Admins and Owners have user management capabilities, enabling them to add or delete users, modify privileges, and adjust permission levels for data access.

Permission Levels​

Permission levels provide document-level data access controls to ensure that sensitive information is only accessible to users with appropriate authorization. There are three permission levels in Queryloop:

  1. Public: Users with Public access can view general or non-sensitive documents. This level is suitable for shared organizational information and documents intended for a broad audience.
  2. Confidential: Confidential access allows users to view both Public and Confidential documents. Typically assigned to senior or mid-level members, this level covers documents with sensitive organizational data.
  3. Secret: Secret access is designated for highly sensitive or classified documents, accessible only to select personnel, such as high-ranking administrators or executives. Users with Secret permission can access all document levels, ensuring that secure data remains under strict control.

By configuring permissions accurately, organizations can restrict access to sensitive information while enabling users to perform necessary tasks without compromising data security.

Access Requirements​

The User Management tab is available to owners and administrators within organizations that subscribe to the Pro or Enterprise plans. Access to these features ensures that only trusted personnel manage users and permissions, maintaining data integrity and privacy across teams.

This module is essential for maintaining operational security, data confidentiality, and compliance with organizational privacy standards. By allowing designated users to manage permissions and access levels, Queryloop provides a secure foundation for deploying and scaling AI-driven applications.
